hey i have the same laptop and it's working fine except for one thing that is when i plug the laptop to the wall, it does not power on. but then i remove the barrel connector and turn the power on , the laptop turns on. and then i can use the powersupply. what can be the issue here?

Mine bought from 2018, 1 usb port broken, battery is unuseable and keyboard lost some key too but i plug it with a monitor and another keyboard. Still going strong in 2024 lmao 😢

very nice.. One upgrade that i frequently do is.. i cover the entire CPU and GPU with kapton tap. cut the die area with detailing knife and apply liquid metal to prevent over-spill.. This really helps with thermal throttling

Hey u can actually put a nice gpu through the pcie pin that goes in for wifi and nvme ssd because that case can be made a little larger to fit the gpu
